The student, identified as Audi Emmanuel, was discovered lifeless in his apartment located along Awolowo Road in Emure-Ile, within Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

“We became worried because of the strong smell. After trying to reach him without success, we had no choice but to break in,” a resident recounted. “That was when we found him. It was shocking.”
The discovery has left residents and fellow students in deep shock, as many struggle to understand what could have led to the incident. No note or message explaining the circumstances surrounding his death was found at the scene.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Abayomi Jimoh, said officers were promptly deployed to the location.
The body has since been evacuated and deposited at a morgue, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
