The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old woman, Success Olafemi, after she was allegedly found in possession of 88 ATM cards belonging to different banks and accused of attempting to lure a seven-year-old girl.
Olafemi, reportedly from Kara Makasia near the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Camp in Ogun State, was arrested on Saturday, August 22, 2026, following information received by the police.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, a woman identified as Tope Makinde reported that Olafemi had allegedly attempted to lure a seven-year-old girl, identified as Jumat, at Ewu-Lisa via Simawa.
The suspect was reportedly using N200 notes and sachets of Milo tea to entice the child before she was apprehended.
A search of Olafemi allegedly led to the recovery of 88 ATM cards from different financial institutions. The cards included 25 OPay cards, 13 UBA cards, nine GTBank cards, 11 First Bank cards, 10 Zenith Bank cards, seven Keystone Bank cards, four Ecobank cards, two PalmPay cards and two Skye Bank cards.

Police also reportedly recovered N7,000 in cash, mostly in N200 denominations, as well as sachets of Milo and Nescafé tea from her handbag.
During questioning, the suspect allegedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for how she obtained the large number of ATM cards.
She remains in police custody as detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding the recovered cards and the allegation involving the child.
