
Popular Nigerian comedian, Koboko, on Tuesday took to the streets to lead a protest condemning the recent abduction of a teacher and students in Oyo State, as well as the growing wave of insecurity across the country.
The demonstration, which drew attention from passersby and traders, featured protesters carrying placards with bold inscriptions such as “Bring Back Our Children” and “Stop the Killing.”
The group called on government authorities and security agencies to take urgent and decisive action to rescue the abducted victims and safeguard citizens.
Koboko, who addressed the crowd with a megaphone, expressed deep concern over the recurring cases of kidnappings and violence affecting communities nationwide.

He emphasized that the safety of children and educators must be treated as a national priority, urging leaders to act swiftly and responsibly.
Participants in the protest echoed similar frustrations, noting that insecurity has continued to disrupt daily life, education, and economic activities.
They demanded improved security measures, accountability, and stronger protection for vulnerable groups, especially schoolchildren.
