Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has expressed deep grief over the recent attacks and abductions in Oyo State that claimed the lives of teachers and children.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the Oyo-born actress said the tragedy felt personal due to her family and cultural ties to the state. She described the incident as heartbreaking, noting that innocent lives had been lost, families thrown into mourning, and communities left traumatised by violence.
Abraham extended her condolences to the families of the victims, especially parents whose children were abducted during the attacks in Oriire Local Government and other parts of the state. She stressed that no Nigerian should live in fear and no child should be afraid to go to school.
