Reality TV star Bamike Olawunmi, popularly known as Bambam, has publicly lamented the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State, calling on authorities and Nigerians to find a solution.
In a tearful video posted on her Facebook page on Thursday, the former BBNaija housemate questioned what was being done to rescue the victims. “What’s the SOLUTION?!!!” she wrote as the caption.
The post comes 14 days after gunmen stormed three schools in Oriire Local Government Area, abducting pupils, teachers, and the principal. The attack targeted Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota; Community Grammar School, Ahoro-Esinele; and L.A. Primary School.

Bambam’s emotional reaction has drawn widespread support online, with thousands reacting to the video and echoing calls for urgent government intervention. The post had garnered over 70,000 reactions and 6,700 comments within a day.
The Defence Headquarters said the attackers were JAS terrorists previously dislodged from the North-East. While communication has been established with the Oyo State government, the abductors have refused to negotiate with families, insisting on speaking only with Governor Seyi Makinde.
Families of the abducted children continue to appeal for their release, as concerns grow over the safety of schools in the state.
