
Arsenal have confirmed that goalkeeper Karl Hein will join Werder Bremen on a permanent transfer in July 2026. The Premier League champions announced the deal in a statement released ahead of their final league match against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Hein arrived at the North London club in June 2018 from Estonian side Nõmme United and signed his first professional contract a year later. The 24-year-old spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Werder Bremen, where he made two appearances in the Bundesliga during his spell in Germany.
