Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against terrorism in Kebbi State, arresting 10 suspected logistics suppliers and intercepting motorcycles allegedly meant for terrorist operations.
The operation, which was carried out on Monday afternoon, followed credible intelligence on the movement of supplies intended for terrorist elements within the state.
According to reports from a North-West crisis tracker, the troops successfully intercepted 10 brand-new Honda motorcycles. The items were reportedly concealed in cardboard cartons and were being transported to a notorious terrorist kingpin identified as Mallam Gehowa, believed to be operating around the Amogoro axis.

In a swift follow-up action, the military tracked and apprehended four additional suspects who allegedly arrived to take delivery of the consignment. This brought the total number of arrests to 10 individuals linked to the suspected logistics network.
Security sources say the operation marks a significant disruption of terrorist supply chains in the North-West region, particularly in limiting access to mobility tools often used in attacks.
The success further underscores the growing effectiveness of intelligence-led military operations aimed at weakening the operational capacity of terrorist groups across the region.
Authorities have yet to release further details on the suspects as investigations continue.
