A total of 64 teams will compete in the men’s category, while 32 teams are set to battle for honours in the women’s competition following the conclusion of the national playoffs.
Reports indicate that six teams were eliminated from the men’s playoffs, while four teams failed to progress in the women’s category.
Kwara United will enter the tournament as defending champions in the men’s event, while Rivers Angels remain the title holders in the women’s competition.
