Chelsea forward Joao Pedro has picked Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes as the toughest defender he has played against this season.
Speaking to TNT Sports Brasil, the Brazilian striker said he was surprised by Gabriel’s speed during their Premier League battles. Despite the challenge, Pedro noted that he also gave the Arsenal defender a hard time and praised his performances.
“The toughest defender to play against this season? Top three: Willian Pacho and Jonathan Tah, but Gabriel Magalhaes was the toughest in my opinion,” Pedro said. “I was surprised by his speed, but I gave him a hard time, too! He’s been inspired this season.”
