
Atletico Madrid forward Ademola Lookman has named Chelsea captain Reece James and Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk as the two toughest defenders he has faced in his career.
The 28-year-old Nigeria international, who has played in England, Germany, Italy and now Spain, made the comments in a recent interview with ESPN FC.

Lookman has featured for several clubs, including Everton, Leicester City, Atalanta, RB Leipzig, Fulham and Charlton Athletic. Asked to name the toughest opponent he has come up against, he said: “There are a few. Reece James, I would say Van Dijk.”
Lookman joined Atletico Madrid from Atalanta a few months ago and has impressed for Diego Simeone’s side. He will hope to lead the club against Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final second leg on Tuesday.
