Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have successfully rescued 15 kidnapped victims after foiling a terrorist attack in Marge community, located in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The operation was reportedly launched following credible intelligence about the movement of armed terrorists in the area. Acting swiftly, the security personnel mobilised to the community, where they confronted the attackers in a fierce exchange of gunfire.

The latest success comes less than a day after troops of the same operation thwarted another kidnapping attempt in Surimi, a border community between Kebbi and Sokoto states, where four abducted persons were rescued during an intelligence-led mission.
Operation FANSAN YAMMA has continued to intensify security operations across the North-West, targeting terrorist and kidnapping networks in a bid to improve safety and restore peace in communities affected by insecurity.
