An eatery worker identified as Jeffrey has been shot dead by suspected cultists in Oghara, Otefe area of Delta State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday night when Jeffrey and his colleague, Daniel, were returning home from work on a motorcycle.
According to a police source, the attackers opened fire on the two men. Jeffrey sustained serious gunshot injuries and later died, while Daniel survived and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

An anti-cultism advocacy platform, Naija Confra, said the victims worked together at an eatery in Otefe and were attacked while returning from work.
The platform also disclosed that Jeffrey was a graduate of Delta State Polytechnic, while Daniel, who graduated from the institution this year, survived the attack.
Jeffrey’s remains have reportedly been deposited in a morgue as efforts continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing and identify those responsible.
