The Borno State Government has ordered the immediate closure of a Government Day School following the abduction of 42 students by suspected armed attackers in the state.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure after the incident, which reportedly occurred when armed men invaded the school community and abducted students from the facility.
Security operatives have since been deployed to the area to assess the situation and begin search-and-rescue operations.
