Bandits have attacked Saketa village in Dinawa Ward, Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto State, abducting eight residents and rustling several livestock.
The attackers, reportedly armed with dangerous weapons, stormed the community around 1:00 a.m. and spent several hours carrying out the operation.

Residents reportedly attempted to resist the attack but were overpowered by the bandits, who escaped with eight people and several animals.
The incident was disclosed by security analyst Bakatsine in a post on X.
