
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested several suspects allegedly involved in car theft, armed robbery, cable vandalism and the theft of agricultural equipment across the FCT and neighbouring states.
The suspects were paraded at the NSCDC National Headquarters in Abuja following intelligence-led operations by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.
One of those arrested, identified as Adam Yusuf, was reportedly apprehended under the Mpape Flyover while allegedly attempting to deliver a stolen Toyota Camry.

The NSCDC also recovered an AK-47 rifle, 16 rounds of ammunition and ₦70,000 from suspects allegedly linked to an armed robbery operation.
Other suspects paraded included alleged cable vandals and a man accused of stealing 15 tractor batteries.
In a separate operation, the Corps rescued Micaiah Nana, the last of 16 children allegedly trafficked by a suspect identified as Archibong Anderson. The child was rescued in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, while alleged buyers were arrested and are assisting with investigations.
The NSCDC said the operations are part of its ongoing efforts to tackle criminal activities and protect lives and property across the country.
