Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested two brothers suspected of supplying logistics to ISWAP terrorists during a farm protection patrol in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The development was disclosed by security analyst Zagazola Makama in a post shared on X, where he detailed the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
According to Makama, the suspects Audu Abdullahi, 25, and Shettima Abdullahi, 30 — both natives of Kasabalari village in Damboa LGA, were apprehended at about 10:30 a.m. on July 19 in the Nzuda general area.
The operation was carried out by troops of the 19 Battalion (Mechanised) in collaboration with the 25 Task Force Brigade Garrison.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the brothers were allegedly transporting supplies meant for suspected ISWAP fighters operating in the Wajiroko axis.
Items recovered from the suspects include two bicycles, a mobile phone with dual SIM cards, an identity card, bicycle tyres and tubes, six containers of pesticide (Force Up), pain relief medication, a small solar panel, a rechargeable torchlight with battery, and two locally fabricated knives, among other items.
The suspects, along with the recovered exhibits, are currently in military custody for further investigation.
Makama noted that the arrest is part of ongoing farm protection operations aimed at disrupting terrorist logistics networks and curbing insurgent activities in the North-East.
He added that although the security situation across the region remains relatively calm, it is still unpredictable, with troops maintaining sustained pressure and a high level of operational readiness against terrorist elements.
