Security operatives in Edo State have arrested three suspected kidnappers and rescued three victims abducted in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area.
The operation was carried out by a joint team comprising the Edo State Police Command, local hunters and other security agencies following a distress call over the abduction.
The victims were reportedly taken by gunmen into the Illeh Forest, where their families had already been contacted for ransom.

Police spokesperson ASP Eno Ikoedem identified the rescued victims as Olaefe Ehimen, Taiye Ibrahim and Mrs Ehimen.
She said one other victim remains in captivity, while security agencies are intensifying efforts to rescue the person and apprehend other members of the suspected kidnapping syndicate.
