The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ogun State Command has arrested 210 suspects for offences including vandalism, fraud and illegal mining over the past 18 months.
State Commandant Mrs Remilekun Ekundayo revealed the figures on Wednesday during a familiarisation visit to the Ogun Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Abeokuta.
She stated the command also recovered more than N23 million for victims of fraud-related cases and resolved over 1,700 disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution within the same period.
According to Ekundayo, intelligence-driven operations have helped prevent several criminal activities, particularly around the protection of pipelines, railway corridors and power installations across the state.
