
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has reacted to Arsenal’s Premier League title win, admitting he is disappointed that City fell short this season.
Speaking after the Gunners clinched the trophy ahead of Manchester City, the Norway international said the season had been long but ultimately not good enough for Pep Guardiola’s side.
“Of course, I am disappointed. It has been a long season, but ultimately not good enough for us. Losing out on the title,” Haaland said via Daily AFC on X.

The striker added that Arsenal deserved the title after accumulating the most points over the campaign. He also took time to congratulate his Norway teammate and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard on the achievement.
“Congratulations to Martin, it is well deserved. He deserves this trophy,” he stated.
Arsenal sealed the Premier League title following Manchester City’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Tuesday night, ending a 22-year wait for the club’s return to the summit of English football.
