
A fire outbreak engulfed a building on Biola Street in the Alapere area of Ketu, Lagos, on Friday evening, causing panic among residents and drawing an emergency response from firefighters.
According to eyewitnesses, the blaze broke out around 8:59 p.m., although the cause of the fire had not been determined at the time of reporting. Officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service arrived promptly at the scene and immediately began efforts to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.

Residents gathered around the area as emergency responders battled the inferno. The extent of the damage to the affected property was not immediately known.
