The demonstration, led by the Lagos CAN Chairman, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, took the form of a road walk in Alausa, Ikeja.
Clergymen, Christian faithful, and concerned citizens participated in the procession, carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Pray for Nigeria,” “No to School Children Abduction,” and “Release the Oyo School Children Now!”
The advocacy walk began and ended at the Chapel of Christ the Light, with participants emphasizing the need for decisive government action to address the growing security challenges threatening lives and property nationwide.
Speaking during the protest, CAN leaders expressed deep concern over the increasing rate of kidnappings and attacks, particularly targeting vulnerable groups such as schoolchildren.
