
Panic has spread across parts of Zamfara State following a fresh attack by armed bandits who abducted several residents in Nassarawa Burkullu community, near Bakin Gari in Bukkuyum Local Government Area.
The attack, which occurred on Monday evening, saw heavily armed assailants storm the rural settlement, taking an unspecified number of villagers to unknown destinations. The incident has once again highlighted the persistent insecurity plaguing communities across the state.
According to security analyst Bakatsine, who disclosed the development in a post on Monday night, the attackers carried out the operation swiftly, leaving residents in shock and fear.
Families of the victims are currently in distress, awaiting any information about the whereabouts of their loved ones.
