Parents of children abducted from a community in Borno State have protested over the continued captivity of their loved ones, saying the children have now spent about 130 days in the hands of their abductors.
The affected parents reportedly gathered to call for urgent action to secure the release of the children, who were taken during an attack on the community.
The prolonged captivity has caused growing concern among families, with parents expressing frustration over the lack of information about when their children would regain their freedom.
The protesters appealed to the Borno State Government and security agencies to intensify efforts to locate the children and negotiate their safe release.

According to the parents, the children have remained in captivity for more than four months, leaving their families distressed and uncertain about their safety.
They urged the authorities to treat the matter as an emergency and take every necessary step to bring the abducted children back home.
The families also called for stronger security measures in affected communities to prevent further abductions and protect residents from attacks.
The continued captivity has renewed concerns over the security situation in parts of Borno State, particularly the vulnerability of children and other residents during attacks.
