Arsenal have taken firm control of the Premier League title race after Manchester City dropped points in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Everton, according to former Gunners captain Thierry Henry.
The result leaves City five points behind Arsenal, although Pep Guardiola’s side still have a game in hand.
However, Henry believes the advantage now clearly belongs to Mikel Arteta’s men as the season enters its decisive phase.
“Now it’s back in Arsenal’s hands. It’s not in Man City’s hands anymore,” Henry said on Monday Night Football.
The former striker admitted he expected City to struggle at Everton and pointed to signs of nervousness in their performance, as defensive mistakes allowed the hosts back into the game.

“I saw a bit of nervousness with City because they imploded. They brought Everton back into the game with some mistakes, and the match became chaotic,” he added.
Despite Arsenal’s strong position, Henry cautioned against complacency, urging the team to stay focused and avoid being distracted by City’s results.
“Don’t look at City. Just win your games. There’s no ‘maybe’ it’s in your hands,” he advised.
With momentum now on their side, Arsenal are in pole position, while Manchester City must rely on a slip if they are to keep their title hopes alive.
