
Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested a suspected logistics supplier believed to be aiding terrorist activities in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The arrest was carried out by soldiers of the 22 Brigade under Operation Savannah Shield during a routine patrol along the Dekara axis, following intelligence-led operations.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed that the suspect was intercepted around 5:30 p.m. on April 27 by troops operating from the Forward Operating Base in Babanna.

Items recovered from the suspect include three jerrycans of palm oil, two bags of beans, a carton of electrodes, and ₦243,000 in cash.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect was allegedly responsible for transporting essential supplies from Babanna to Dekara village for suspected terrorist elements operating in the area.
The suspect is currently in military custody and undergoing further interrogation as security forces intensify efforts to dismantle the supply network and identify other collaborators involved in the operation.
