Troops of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Tudun Bichi have neutralised two suspected terrorists during a military operation in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, while one soldier has been declared missing.
The operation was carried out on July 13 after security personnel received intelligence about the presence and activities of suspected terrorists in Mokurata Village.
Acting on the information, the troops moved into the area and engaged the suspects in a fierce gun battle. During the exchange, two of the suspected terrorists were killed.

Security sources said efforts are ongoing to locate the missing soldier, while troops have intensified operations to track down the remaining terrorists who escaped during the confrontation.
The latest operation forms part of the military’s sustained offensive aimed at disrupting terrorist activities and restricting the movement of armed groups across the North-West region.
