Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have recovered three motorcycles during a security operation in Kaduna State, as part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on criminal activities in the region.
The operation was carried out by troops of Sector 7 during a fighting patrol in Jema’a Local Government Area in the early hours of Saturday, around 1:40 a.m. The patrol formed part of intensified moves by security forces to track and flush out fleeing criminal elements.
According to security sources, the troops advanced into the Dogo Fili Forest, an area believed to serve as a hideout for suspected criminals.
On sighting the approaching troops, the suspects reportedly fled the scene, abandoning three motorcycles in their wake.
The recovered motorcycles have since been taken into custody by the troops for further investigation and possible intelligence gathering.
