
A security guard has been killed during a suspected theft operation at a hospital in Danlasan Ward, Warawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The victim, identified as Malam Ado Shuaibu Maki, was reportedly attacked while on duty on the night of Friday, July 3. The assailants allegedly killed the guard before stealing solar equipment installed at the health facility.
Local authorities confirmed the incident on Saturday, stating that the attackers fled the scene with the stolen items after carrying out the fatal attack.

He described the killing as a criminal act and urged security agencies to launch a thorough investigation, arrest those responsible, and ensure they are prosecuted. Authorities have commenced investigations to uncover the perpetrators and recover the stolen equipment.
