The police spokesperson, SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the arrests were made in separate incidents involving a streetlight cable and an electricity transformer.
According to the statement, 38-year-old Aminu Musa, a resident of New Gwaram Town, was arrested at about 1:00 a.m. on September 25, 2026, for allegedly cutting an armoured cable belonging to a streetlight. Musa reportedly worked as a streetlight generator operator.
