
The Oyo State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old man identified as Rilwan ‘M’, who is suspected of dealing in illicit drugs in the Apata area of Ibadan.
The suspect was arrested on September 11 following intelligence received by the police. Operatives of the Iyaganku Area Command reportedly conducted surveillance before apprehending him.
Police said suspected Indian hemp, a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine, and other suspected dangerous drugs were recovered from the suspect.

He remains in police custody as investigators work to determine the source of the substances and identify other individuals who may be connected to the alleged drug trade.
The police said the suspect will be charged to court after the preliminary investigation is concluded.
