The Plateau State Police Command says it has arrested 32 suspects in connection with various offences, including alleged kidnapping, human trafficking, rape, defilement and drug-related crimes.
The command also recovered 10 rifles and 54 rounds of live ammunition during separate operations across the state.
The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Ayodeji Faniyan, disclosed this on Friday while briefing journalists at the command headquarters in Jos.
According to him, the arrests and recoveries followed intelligence-led operations carried out by officers across different parts of the state.

Among the weapons recovered were AK-47 rifles, a GPMG, locally fabricated firearms and other weapons. Police also arrested several suspects linked to alleged sexual offences and drug possession.
The commissioner said investigations into the cases are ongoing, while suspects will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
Faniyan also urged residents to remain vigilant and continue providing credible information to the police to help combat crime across Plateau State.
