A man dressed in police uniform has allegedly shot a young man suspected of being involved in internet fraud in the Agip area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, August 28, 2026, causing panic among residents and passers-by who gathered at the scene after the shooting.
A video circulating online purportedly shows the aftermath of the incident, although the circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.
The identity of the man wearing the police uniform and whether he is a serving police officer have not been established.
