The Lagos State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to help identify the family of an 83-year-old man, Mr. Oriowo Gabriel, who is currently under protective custody after being found alone.
According to the police, the elderly man was rescued by a good Samaritan and taken to the Ipaja Police Division, where officers have been providing him with care and ensuring his safety.
Police authorities said attempts to locate his relatives using the residential addresses he provided were unsuccessful.

Officers visited the locations, but no residents were able to recognize him or provide information that could lead to his family.
The command is urging anyone who knows Mr. Oriowo Gabriel or has information that could help locate his relatives to come forward and assist in reuniting him with his loved ones.
