A man identified simply as Golden has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in the Igando area of Lagos following what was described as a business-related dispute.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday along Fatoki Street, where two armed men arrived on a motorcycle searching for the victim. According to police sources, the attackers later found Golden and allegedly opened fire on him.
Security operatives who responded to the scene reportedly discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead before his body was deposited in a morgue.

The police said investigations into the killing were ongoing and did not officially confirm the motive behind the attack.
However, anti-cultism advocacy platform Confra Naija claimed the incident was linked to a dispute involving suspected internet fraud proceeds, popularly known as “Yahoo money.”
The group added that although rival cult groups were mentioned in connection with the attack, sources indicated the killing was not cult-related.
Attempts to reach the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Abimbola Adebisi, were unsuccessful as of the time of filing the report.
The killing comes just days after another fatal shooting in the Sangotedo area of Lagos, where a shawarma vendor identified as Andy was allegedly killed by suspected cultists.
