
Operatives of the Kwara State Police Command have arrested two suspected bandits and recovered two AK-47 rifles alongside ammunition and other dangerous items during a targeted operation in Baruten LGA.
The suspects, identified as Bello Mohammed (28) and Abubakar Mohammed (25), were apprehended at a criminal hideout in Okuta. Recovered items include 65 rounds of live ammunition, weapons, charms, and materials allegedly used in kidnapping operations.

One suspect reportedly confessed to involvement, while another alleged accomplice, who provided shelter for the gang, has also been arrested.
