The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, has issued a stern warning to officers and personnel of the command, declaring that the era of impunity within the Nigeria Police Force is over.
The directive was delivered during a strategic briefing held with senior officers, including Deputy Commissioners, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders across the state.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the meeting was convened to reinforce the directives of the Inspector-General of Police on discipline, accountability, and professionalism within the Force.
Speaking at the briefing, Ojo emphasized that misconduct, indiscipline, abuse of office, and other unprofessional behaviors will no longer be tolerated.
He urged officers to uphold the integrity and ethical standards expected of law enforcement personnel.
“The era of impunity is over. Every officer must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects discipline, professionalism, and respect for the law,” he stated.
