A fire incident on Sunday morning caused disruption at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, raising concerns among passengers and aviation authorities.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed the development in an official statement, noting that its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS) swiftly responded to the emergency.
According to FAAN, the fire broke out within the terminal, prompting immediate deployment of firefighters to contain the situation and prevent further damage.

Despite the scare, FAAN assured the public that no casualties or loss of life were recorded during the incident.
