The family of a six-month-old baby, Faaiz, has appealed to the public for assistance in locating him after he was allegedly abducted from his mother’s room in Erunmu, Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of September 16, while the baby was sleeping beside his mother, Asimau Olasunkanmi, in their home.
According to the mother, she discovered that the child was missing when she woke up to breastfeed him before the early morning prayer. A subsequent search reportedly revealed that the mosquito net covering a window had been cut.
The family expressed shock over the incident, noting that there were no other obvious signs of forced entry into the house.
