Arsenal legend David Seaman has backed Mikel Arteta’s side to cap a historic season by winning the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain next week.
The Gunners were confirmed Premier League champions on Tuesday night after Bournemouth held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium. Erling Haaland’s late equaliser was not enough to keep City in the title race until the final day.
Arsenal will lift the trophy at Crystal Palace on Sunday before turning attention to the Champions League final in Budapest. The North London club faces PSG in what will be their first appearance in the final since 2006.

Speaking ahead of the showdown, Seaman said it comes down to results rather than style. He referenced Arsenal’s famous defensive resilience when asked for his prediction.
“It’s all about winning, it’s not how we play,” Seaman said. “But the old famous scoreline, ‘1-0 to Arsenal’, has still got a great sound to it.”
The former goalkeeper’s comments will fuel optimism among Arsenal fans who believe the team can complete a Premier League and Champions League double in 2026.
