
Arsenal have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a narrow 1–0 victory over Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
The result sealed the Gunners’ progression to the final after a tightly contested semi-final tie, following a 1–1 draw in the first leg in Spain. Mikel Arteta’s side showed control and intensity from the start, dominating possession and pressing high up the pitch.
The breakthrough came in the first half when Bukayo Saka reacted fastest inside the penalty area to finish off a rebound after an effort from Leandro Trossard.
