Following his arrest, a team of detectives conducted a thorough search of the suspect’s residence. The raid yielded further incriminating evidence, including a full set of military camouflage attire consisting of a cap, knicker, and jacket.
During police interrogation, Isaac confessed to being an active member of the notorious “Vikings” confraternity. He claimed that he purchased the Beretta pistol for three hundred thousand naira from an associate known as Gideon, alias “Starboy,” who is reportedly based in Suleja.
The suspect, who claims to earn a living as a campus photographer, also alleged that the military camouflage gear found in his room was gifted to him by an unnamed friend.
Abiodun stated that the suspect remains in police custody as deeper investigations unfold. Security forces have already launched a manhunt to track down the supplier, Gideon, alongside other fleeing accomplices linked to the cult network.
