The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has ordered the arrest and prosecution of motorists using tinted glass without valid permits, concealed or defaced number plates, and unauthorised diplomatic plates.
FCT Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi, issued the directive while addressing journalists, warning that such vehicles could be exploited by criminals to evade identification and arrest.

He also directed police officers across the FCT to intensify enforcement of vehicle identification laws while carrying out the exercise professionally and without extortion.
