Nollywood actor Muyiwa Ademola has recounted a frightening experience on the set of Warlord: Olori Ogun, revealing how he collapsed after falling seriously ill while filming the movie.
The actor disclosed that he began experiencing severe weakness and dizziness before shooting his first scene, despite medical advice that he was not fit to work.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Ademola explained that his condition worsened as he struggled to remain on his feet. He said his hands were shaking, sweat covered his body, and his legs could no longer support him.
According to the actor, he leaned against a wall as he felt himself losing strength. His personal assistant reportedly provided him with a chair, but his condition continued to deteriorate.
Ademola said fellow actor Odun noticed his condition and quickly came to his aid, calling for a mat so he could lie down.
Recounting the terrifying moment, the actor said he was unable to speak or coordinate his movements, although he could hear the voices of people around him as they panicked.

He also revealed that he wanted to ask his personal assistant, Oloyo, to contact his wife but was too weak to communicate before eventually losing consciousness.
Ademola admitted that he did not know how long he remained unconscious, describing the duration as unknown.
The actor further disclosed that his doctors had warned him that he was not medically fit to continue working. However, he admitted that he ignored their advice and took medication on his own until filming was completed.
His account has highlighted the potential dangers of pushing through illness and disregarding medical advice, particularly in demanding work environments such as movie production.
The incident offers a reminder of the importance of prioritising health and seeking proper medical attention rather than continuing to work while seriously unwell.
