Social media activist VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM, has taken a swipe at Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile, mocking the reception of his latest music project and wedding amid speculation about a possible rift between the two personalities.
VDM made the remarks in a social media post, questioning whether Zlatan’s latest song would maintain the number-one position on Apple Music for an entire month.
In his post, the activist criticised the publicity surrounding Zlatan’s wedding, suggesting that neither the wedding nor the album had generated the level of attention he expected.
“Person wey do a whole wedding because he won promote him album, album no blow, wedding no blow,” VDM wrote.
He also questioned the engagement received by blogs that published reports about the wedding, claiming that the posts failed to attract significant comments despite the publicity surrounding the event.
VDM further stated that he would be disappointed if Zlatan’s latest song failed to remain at number one on Apple Music for a month.

His comments have added to online conversations about a possible disagreement between the two entertainers.
The speculation reportedly began after listeners interpreted a lyric in Zlatan’s song featuring Peruzzi and Shoday as a possible reference to VDM, whose first name is Vincent.
In the track, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent, I no fit masturbate,” a line that some listeners linked to the social media activist.
However, it remains unclear whether the lyric was specifically directed at VDM, and neither the reported lyric nor the activist’s comments independently establish the existence of a feud between the two.
The exchange has continued to generate discussion among fans, with attention focused on Zlatan’s music, his wedding publicity and the possibility of tensions between the rapper and the outspoken activist.
