Nigerian actress and content creator Dianee has said she would be willing to accept her husband marrying a second wife, provided he remains honest with her and continues to cater for her and their children.
The 22-year-old made the disclosure during an interview with content creator Egungun of Lagos, where she discussed her views on marriage, relationships and her personal life.
Dianee said societal attitudes towards polygamy had evolved, adding that she would not necessarily oppose her husband taking another wife if he remained financially responsible for his family.
“Yes, I feel like we are past that now. The society has evolved to making that a normal thing. If you like, marry two or three, so far you are feeding me and my children,” she said.

The actress, however, stressed that honesty would be a key condition, explaining that she would prefer her husband to inform her openly about his intention to marry another woman rather than deceive her.
“It’s not a crime as long as he is honest enough with me, saying, ‘I want to marry this person.’ I can be a second wife, just have money,” she added.
She further argued that marrying another woman would be preferable to infidelity, making it clear that she would rather have an honest arrangement than deal with a partner who cheats secretly.
“It’s better for him to marry a second wife than for him to cheat,” she said.
Speaking about her relationship status, Dianee disclosed that she was single and concentrating on personal development and career advancement.
“Right now, I am just trying to work on myself, evolve and also focus on my goals. I am 22 years old, not in a relationship,” she said.
The actress also revealed that she earns money through YouTube and urged her fans to watch her movies to support her career.
“YouTube pays. I get paid by YouTube. That’s why I am begging you guys to go watch my movies so I can eat,” she added.
