Gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori has called on Nigerians to pray more over the rising insecurity in the country, following the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
In a post shared on June 2, 2026, Alaseyori said Nigerians should not downplay the efforts of the federal government. “You can’t say the President and Vice President are not working,” she stated.
The singer stressed that prayer remains effective in times of crisis. She urged citizens to lift up the abducted schoolchildren, security personnel, and the nation in prayer.
