
Veteran Nigerian actor and comedian Okiki Adesina, popularly known as Janmole, has died in a ghastly car accident.
The filmmaker passed away on Monday, with news of his death confirmed on Tuesday by Bolaji Amusan, President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, and widely known as Mr Latin.
In a tribute posted on Instagram, Mr Latin mourned the loss of his colleague. “May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace,” he wrote. “May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen.”

Okiki Adesina was a familiar face in Yoruba Nollywood, recognized for his comic roles and contributions to the industry as both actor and filmmaker. His death comes nearly four years after he survived a fire accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
