A UK-based Nigerian, Ademola Oke, has been found dead at his workplace in what marks the third reported death involving Nigerians in the United Kingdom this April.
Oke, 37, was said to have left his home on April 18 in good health and maintained regular communication with his wife throughout the day, showing no signs of illness or distress.
According to a family friend, Adejonwo Odutola, the deceased was later discovered unresponsive while seated on a sofa at his workplace by a colleague who resumed for a night shift.
Emergency responders were immediately contacted but confirmed him dead at the scene.
Described as a devoted husband and loving father, Oke’s sudden passing has left his 31-year-old wife devastated and solely responsible for their two young children, aged six and two.
