
A woman has reportedly been found dead with her head severed in Unguwan Abuja, Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, August 21, 2026, in the same community where another suspected ritual killing was reported earlier in the week.
According to reports, the victim, identified as 38-year-old Susuti Denhan, was deaf and had left her residence on Friday but failed to return home.

Concerned family members subsequently launched a search for her. Her body was reportedly discovered on Saturday on a mountain in the community, with her head missing.
The circumstances surrounding the killing remain unclear, while suspicions of a possible ritual motive have been raised.
As of the time of filing this report, the Adamawa State Police Command had yet to officially comment on the incident or confirm whether any arrests had been made.
