According to him, the firefighters acted swiftly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.
Akinwande explained that although the vehicle and its load of flour were affected by the fire, no lives were lost and no injuries were recorded.
He attributed the incident to an overheated engine, noting that preliminary findings indicated the fire started while the pickup was moving.
The fire service urged motorists to carry out regular maintenance on their vehicles, particularly engine cooling systems, to reduce the risk of similar incidents.
Authorities said no casualty was recorded, while the cause of the fire has been identified as engine overheating.
